A few weeks ago I participated in a logo contest for a financial institution and on my quest for inspiration I found a website filled with some of the best bank logos and adverts ever!

I basically found this site, you guessed it, with Google and I was really overwhelmed with the astonishing number of examples provided. This source really helped me with my design and even though in the end I wasn’t selected as the winner, I knew I had to share some of this amazing content, and why not the best of it.

What a mess!

Considering the enormous amount of designs I knew it would be a gargantuan task to reunite all of the best logos for you to enjoy. I had to organize them into a few categories and regroup them into images so that you could benefit from them directly on this post. I spread this out over a couple of weeks because of how time consuming this proved to be.

Square logos

Over to the designs! let’s start off with square shape logos.

Circle logos

So I guess you’ve probably figured out by now that I chose to organize designs simply by shapes in an attempt to make sense of all these designs. Really this method just helped me when I was selecting the best designs and it’s way of displaying the information in a more logical manner. Anyways on to oval shapes.

Strong & thick designs

Here comes a big one! I was forced to create two separate images for this one as the height would have been ridiculously long otherwise.

Thinner designs

Here are some logos designed with thinner strokes giving the first impression of a weaker impact but they, nevertheless, accomplish their roles more than satisfactorily.

Heraldic Bonus

I’ve gathered the best heraldic designs as well just to add some variation to the design styles selected for this post.
